We have so much kale at the Burning Kumquat. Right now we are growing curly kale, dino kale, and red russian kale.
One easy recipe is to make kale chips!
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. Wash a lot of kale (it will shrink away when you cook it). I would recommend 3/4 lb of kale. Chop up the kale into large pieces; you can use the stems as well. Lay them out on a baking sheet, and it’s okay if they overlap. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Then cook for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!
Also: if you like making homemade summer pizzas like I do, trying putting kale on it! Just wash, chop and throw it into the oven as a pizza topping. No need to sautee in advance!
